I drew these shapes, cut them out and scanned them in.


















The shapes were then sized (and duplicated) to create this scenery. I gave the shapes flat colors and drop shadows to suggest actual depth. Once I did that, the picture had an old carnival theater feel to it. To play this up, I added the slight gradient at the edges.

Project Mock-up

Beetle taken from the internet.
Decoration at bottom was drawn by hand, then scanned into the computer. I then duplicated and manipulated elements of the decoration for size and placement.

Image was created to mock-up an upcoming project. The beetle was texturized to simulate scratches on a stone and then colored over. The orange and green on the beetle were to simulate the look of screen printing over the image.

My work asked me to make an image on the department website look more like a logo. There is some color enhancement and addition of text and shapes.

Photoshop Images

Study for a project:
I drew each person and scenery separately. After scanning them in, I was able to move and size to create the best overall visual design.

Photograph turned black and white. I also adjusted the tones a little bit to allow for optimal range of grey tones.

Variation of tones:
Trees and grass have been re-colored into a duo-tone. The building shown has been made a monotone, and the stairs have been left black and white but increased in contrast.

Only have the after image.
This is a photograph of a light fixture I installed in my home. I added all the glowing, sparkly junk that is cluttering the image.

Switched Keanu Reeves face for the face of Kenny Rodgers. I also added Kenny Rodger's name as one of the headlining actors and manipulated it to look like Laurence Fishburne's name.
